Cubes, Centre Georges Pompidou [toy]. [ca. 1989]

According to the instruction sheet, the set "owes its inspiration to the fantastic architecture of the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris, designed by Piano and Rogers". Each of the 24 cubes is printed on 5 sides with coloured "modules" which correspond to the coloured elements decorating the façades of the building. The cubes can be used either to reconstruct the architecture of the Centre or to make a remarkable variety of designs and constructions.

1 set of building blocks : painted wood ; each 3 x 3 x 3 cm. in box 4 x 22 x 9 cm. + 6 model cards and 1 instruction sheet.
